About Us

 Peaceful and untamed but sometimes harsh, the reality is that for some, pleasure is not an option. The abandoned and hurt, like the orphans of South Mozambique, needs a helping hand.  In 2013 while visiting, Adêle and her son Pedro was introduced to these kids where a Bible was placed.  De Freitas Bible distributing & outreaches,  brings the Word of God to those in need for free and has placed just over 600 Bibles since 1998. Specifically Audio Bibles here in South Mozambique, where older people are illiterate and has no electricity, this Bible complete in their own language, charges with solar power.  The De Freitas Bibledistributing & outreaches, is also now registered as a non profit company.  2018338856/08. Adêle and Pedro volunteered to spend time with these kids later in 2013 and on returning to South Africa visited gatherings, to deliver the testimony of hope, creating awareness.  In 2014 the first outreach took place where friends gathered to supply more Bibles and necessities for these kids in need.  Since then once a year, a volunteer group, takes through Bibles and have a planned community lunch and a day of fun, while learning new skills.  This is also the community of Mamoli, where Joao grew up and preaches at his local church. Joao is well known to his community and is helping everywhere he can! With his humble way of serving our great God, he welcomes all sharing his passion to his camp.

EXCITING DRIVES:

COVID PROJECT 2020:  During August, we had the priviledge to help Mamoli Primary school to supply and install a borehole pump, stationary needs and sanitising needs, with special permission from the government of Mozambique.  STAY SAFE

BIBLES:  Our Main drive, to provide the need of the Word in printed or Audio format, in the language needed for free!  

PAO:  a bread roll is delivered to each child from the Mamoli Primary School weekly, sponsored by the "Freygang Familie" & friends from Germany.

FELLOWSHIP EVENINGS ARE HELD WEEKLY, YOUTH HOUR ON SATURDAYS... Currently postponed until declared safe.

HELP BUILD A HOME:  Our greatest challenge currently, a calling was revealed to Adele, to build a children's home in 2015. Joao offered her a piece of land, and with the help of her husband David and so many other mentors, role players, the Grace of God and family and friends.  This became a reality.  The property, was marked by the government of Mozambique, David & Joao erected the fence, and construction needs to start.  1m2 @R110, Target 100000!  Upon buying your 1m2, your name will be placed on a special wall at the home upon completion!  More details at adeletrenam@gmail.com or follow the link...

What you should know

• • Access  to camp only with 4x4 vehicles

  • Malaria area, talk to your doctor about precautionary medication

  • Tented camping area, sleeps 10 to 15 people.  Own cutlery, crockery, kitchen utensils and camping gear

  • Reed house, sleeps 2 (double bed), equiped with all utensils, cutlery & crockery

  • ACCOMMODATION ON CONFIRMED ARRANGED BOOKING ONLY

  • Your own drinking water and food has to be brought to camp, with own refrigeration solution FOR TENTED AREA

  • Always adhere to all Mozambique’s rules & regulations

  • Camp is situated on private property, please respect that!
